Debbie drew the characters Sissy and Baby and some of the decorative graphics on Grandma Gillie's

When Debbie was only eleven years old, she knew she was not only going to be an artist when she grew up,
but that she already was an artist through and through. The encouragement of her parents and teachers only
fueled the fire within her to create, learn, and row. As an adult, Debbie's love of art continued to expand as
she received formal and informal training in the various mediums-from graphic design to airbrush, from
commercial to oil pastels. Debbie's work can be found on t-shirts, greeting cards, children's art and wall
murals sold all over the world.
"Being an artist isn't what I do-it's who I am," Debbie says. "It's the essence of me."
